Emergency Room Wait Time

The wait times displayed reflect the approximate time to see a physician at each Opelousas General ER. Shortly after arrival and registration, you will be evaluated by a nurse. If it is determined you have a condition that requires immediate attention, you will be placed in a room and evaluated by a physician. If you have a condition that does not warrant immediate attention, you will be seen as soon as possible and the estimated wait times will apply in most cases. These times are updated frequently as conditions change.
